Carl Gauley, AIA

Grayspace Architecture’s design approach is characterized by continuously reevaluating the fundamentals of design and construction, from program and site to materials and structure. Every project, regardless of budget or scope, is an opportunity to challenge conventions and deliver meaningful, purposeful design solutions that enrich lives and communities.

Carl founded Grayspace Architecture to focus on residential architecture, only taking on a limited number of projects at a time. He thrives on intense collaboration with each client, working to meet their budget and schedule while maximizing the project's potential and creating inspired moments for everyday use.

Carl’s formative experience as a collaborator and architect at three nationally recognized architecture and design firms instilled in him a thorough research-based design approach that considers the context of each project, a dedication to material exploration and resolution, and a commitment to design excellence when bringing each client's vision to life.
